Aloe vera is a versatile plant when it comes to pot preference. I've seen it planted in many different types of pots. Pot type doesn't matter as much as having well-drained soil.
The soil mix needs to provide good drainage and aeration. You can add add pumice, perlite, or lava rock. to increase drainage.

If your pot is large enough, you can plant multiple aloes in one pot.
When you are done planting, place your pot in bright indirect light.
