Flower Friday: Farmers Market Fall Bounty
I’m taking a break from flowers this Friday to showcase some of the bounty at our Santa Barbara Famers Market in Fall. Being a fan of orange and red, I just love all the colors at the market at these days. Tomatoes, corn on the cob, berries, lettuces, stone fruits and the like are still around but this array of bright hues really catch my eye.

I’ve been a vegetarian for many years now so I shop at our farmers market twice a week year round – how lucky am I. It’s how I eat and I definitely enjoy interacting with the farmers. And at this time of year, there’s nothing like a kabocha squash soup to warm you right up.

I’ll be heading to the farmers market tomorrow and I’m sure some of this fresh wonderfulness will make it into my bags. Plus, I love to use it for centerpieces too (be sure to check the link below) – adorn the table and then eat it!
