Caring For Sansevieria: Snake Plant

JoyUsGarden.com

Easy does it with the watering. This is essential to Snake Plant (Sansevieria) care.

Sansevierias prefer medium light, they’ll also tolerate low light. Just remember low light doesn't mean no light.

They don't mind the dry and stale air. This is another versatility factor that gives this houseplant the label "diehard"

Once you got one Sansevieria you may never need to buy another one. They are very easy to propagate.

It does take time though before you see new growth emerge. The video shows what mine looked like months after planting cuttings.

Root rot is one of the main issues that kills these plants, use a fast and well draining soil.

Even though it is rare to see it, they do flower. It's mostly likely to occur on outdoor snake plants.
